Valentine Sour Cream Treat Container Tutorial!

Good Morning!
I'm here with a Prickley Pear tutorial for some really cute Valentine sour cream treat containers.
I would take a whole bushel of them if I could!
These treat containers are perfect for some Sweet Heart candies. Just fill them up, seal the open end and decorate with some cute stamped hearts, ribbon and tags.
So, lets get started!!
Cut a piece of designer paper 4 x 6 inches and score one end at 1/2 inches.  Place score tape or adhesive along the other end and halfway across the bottom.
Fold the paper over and adhere the two ends together forming a tube. (The scored end with the flap will be inside the tube) Adhere the bottom of the tube - where the score tape was.
This is another view after ends and bottom are adhered together.
Crimp the bottom end using a paper crimper.
This is what it should look like to crimp the ends.
Can you see the crimps? (the lines across the bottom?)
Now that you have one end crimped and adhered.  Crimp the other end in the opposite direction as the bottom. This is what it will look like when you have done both ends.
The top end will remain open to insert candies.  After candies are put in the container you can seal the top end. and then decorate.
For these containers I stamped and cut out hearts and sentiments from Prickley Pears CLR016 Heart Key Crown Clear Stamp Set and DD0158 Funny Valentine Red Rubber Stamp
Now decorate the tops of the containers with ribbon, hearts, sentiment tags and clothes pins.
Aren't they just adorable??
Here they are together in a bowl.
Be sure to take some time to make these and hand them out to your co-workers, teachers and friends!!
I hope you have enjoyed this simply short and sweet project!
Have a wonderful day!!
